    Dear Mr. President,

We hope that you feel very welcome in the city of Berlin. We sincerely hope that you and your family feel comfortable and that you enjoy your stay here as you are among friends.

We also hope that our song may reach you, Mr. President.

Our song, "Newtown Roses", is dedicated to the children of the massacre in Newtown. In memory of them. May they rest in peace. It is also a consolation for the families of the victims, so that they may know they are not alone in their pain.

If the song reaches either those who glorify violence and defend the right to own weapons at any cost, or the politicians that decide the laws which allow weapons to be easily distributed, and it moves people to think, then this song has served its purpose.

If our song finds its way to your ears and your heart, Mr. President, we know it has reached the right person as you truly understand its message. We know that you know what to do.

Mr. President, you are our most welcomed guest.

    Songtext:

There is a Garden far away

Where beautiful roses grew

In this garden in this world

All the flowers are missing you.

There is a Garden far away

Where beautiful roses bloomed

Sad flowerbeds, silent sighs

They are missing there roses too.

    Sleep angel sleep,
    sleep angel sleep

Sleep angel, sleep angel,
    sleep angel sleep

There is a Garden far away
    Where beautiful roses sleep

In another world, the unseen

Cared and sheltered tenderly.

    Sleep roses sleep

    Sleep roses sleep

Sleep roses, sleep roses,
    sleep roses sleep
